Dreaming In Public, an Emmy Award winning half-hour documentary, follows two artists as they struggle to make art and make a living in the middle of ‘flyover country’ Indiana. Both Jake Webster and Kay Westhues have achieved solid reputations in the art world and their work is widely collected and exhibited. In spite of that success, earning a living from their art continues to be the biggest challenge they face. We follow them as they make art and discuss their work. They talk about their partnership, their families, and their careers as artists.
